Playing at state tourney today at Spokane Arena

The Raider basketball team is done with the regional round of the Hardwood Classic state tournament following a loss against the Toutle Lake Ducks.

Lake Roosevelt lost to the Ducks 59-43 Saturday in Longview.

The game started out rough for the Raiders, who only put up two points in the first quarter to the Ducks' 14.

LR found their rhythm in the second quarter when they outscored the Ducks 14-12, including three-point shots from Hunter Whitelaw and Tyson Nicholson, cutting the Toutle Lake's lead down to six points, 19-13 at one point.

But the halftime score was still heavy in the Duck's favor, 26-16.

The Ducks outscored LR 33-27 in the second half for the 59-43 final score.

The Raiders play Today (March 4) at the Spokane Arena in the Hardwood Classic state tournament against Wahkiakum starting at 3:45 p.m., when a loss would put an end to the Raider season.

A win would mean they'd play the next day, March 5, also at Spokane Arena, at 3:45 p.m. against LIfe Christian Academy, which defeated Brewster 78-65 Feb. 28.

A win against Life Christian, would have the Raiders play again on Friday, March 6 at 7:15 p.m. If they lost to LIfe Christian, they'd play again at 12:15 p.m. Friday.
