Katherine J. Lewis McQuown Cunningham

Katherine was born in Pullman, Washington, December 11, 1963, to Albert and Arlene Lewis residing in Palouse.

Her family is saddened to announce her passing Friday, March 6, 2020, with her family by her side at Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane, Washington.

She leaves behind her soul-mate of 25 years, Patrick Cunningham; daughters: Jacquie McQuown, Jennfer Adams and their families; son, Robert McQuown Jr.; brothers: Rich Lewis, Mike Lewis and their families; her canine companions: Buster, George, Tuffy, and many more people who loved her.

Katherine, aka Kathy, was very outgoing, optimistic, funny, loving, strong, witty and just all around beautiful inside and out. She loved being a grandmother, spoiling her grandchildren, drinking margaritas, going to the casino and spending time with her man, Pat, and their dogs. She enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, exploring, gardening, driving around new places and really anything outdoors. She loved to turn the music up and sing and dance. She was always quick with something funny to say about anything. She knew how to make the best of any situation. She was a wonderful grandmother, mother and companion. Her laugh was contagious and her hugs were warm and comforting. She always gave the best advice, even when people didn't want it. She always knew how to put smiles on people's faces. She was very blunt and honest. She would always stand up for people who needed it and said things when they needed to be said. She was the type of person people don't forget. She will always be missed, but never forgotten.

Rest peacefully Kathy, we all love you.
