NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF COUNCIL MEETING
To the citizens of the Town of Coulee Dam, Washington, the Town Council of the Town of Coulee Dam, Washington will not conduct a Council Meeting on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. The next regular council meeting will be held on April 22, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.

A Special Election will be held in the below mentioned districts for the purpose of submitting to the voters for their approval or rejection the following:
Okanogan/Douglas County Hospital District No. 1, Proposition 1, One–year Special levy
City of Brewster, Proposition 1, Emergency Medical Care and Services Levy
City of Pateros, Proposition 1, Emergency Medical Care or Emergency Medical Services Levy
Douglas-Okanogan Fire Protection District No. 15, Proposition 1, Emergency Medical Services Property Tax Levy
Okanogan County Fire Protection District No. 6, Proposition 6, Property Tax Levy for Fire Protection and Emergency Medical Services
The registration deadline for online registrations, mail-in registrations and transfers is April 20th, 2020. Any qualified elector who is not registered to vote in the State of Washington may register to vote in person at the Auditor’s Office up to and including April 28th, 2020.
You can register or obtain registration forms at the Auditor’s Office, on line at http://www.votewa.gov, and at the Department of Licensing.
The Okanogan County Auditor’s Office, 149 3rd Ave N, Room 104, at the County Courthouse, will be open so voters may obtain replacement ballots, drop off voted ballots, obtain provisional ballots, and use the Accessible Voting Units, at the following times.
Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM April 10th-April 27th
On Election Day only, April 28, 2020, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM.
Drop box locations around the county for this election.
Omak – 12 Tribes Casino parking lot, Omak
Twisp – City Hall/118 S Glover St, Twisp
Pateros -180 Pateros Mall in parking lot, Pateros

Drop boxes will close at 8:00PM on Election Day
Voters needing additional information or assistance with voter registration forms or voting may call (509) 422-7240. Voters unable to use the mail-in ballot may use the Accessible Voting Unit available at the County Auditor’s Office.
Ballots require no postage and must be postmarked by the day of the election. Check with your local Post Office for deadlines to have your ballot postmarked properly.

City of Electric City
Lift Station Replacement Project
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Electric City, at the reception desk located in City Hall, 10 Stevens Ave, (PO Box 130), Electric City, Washington 99123 until 10:00:00 a.m. on Friday, May 1, 2020, and will then and there be opened and publicly read for the construction of the improvements.
The project generally consists of demolition and replacement of the existing lift station with a new package lift station. One of the pumps in the existing lift station will be salvaged and used in the new lift station and the existing building will be preserved and control panels installed inside this building. The project will also include approximately 50 feet of 10-inch PVC gravity sewer main and 50 feet of 6-inch force main and associated work. In addition to replacement of the lift station this project will include installation of a new package backup generator.

Twenty (20) working days will be allowed to complete the work, not including equipment lead times.
Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by cash, a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond, payable to the City of Electric City, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond, each in the full amount of the contract price.
Bidders may obtain project documents at the Century West Engineering online plan room http://www.centurywestplanroom.com. Bidders may download digital documents at no cost and obtain printed documents, at Bidders Expense, by choosing the “Order” option. Posted on this plan room, under the “Documents” section, is an Official list of locations where documents may be examined. Any questions regarding this plan room, shall be directed to plan room administration at 509-747-2964 or planroom@abadanplancenter.com. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
