5/4 - A former Safeway employee got into an argument with a current Safeway employee, who allegedly pushed the former employee. The store asked police to inform the former employee that he was banned from the store for one year.

5/5 - A woman left her phone on the counter at Coulee Gas, then a man came in, allegedly pretended the phone was his and took it. Reviewing security footage, an officer recognized and contacted the man about the phone. The man retrieved the phone and gave it to the officer. He faces theft charges for the incident. The woman got her phone back.

5/6 - A man reported seeing suspicious lights, possibly a person, at a neighbor’s vacant house on Section Place. Police searched the area and found the building secure and no one in the area.

5/7 - Police checked on the welfare of a woman on Continental Heights who had been unreachable by another person. She was fine and had simply lost her phone. 

5/8 - A woman reported that teenagers rang her doorbell requesting help with their disabled vehicle on Grand Coulee Avenue. She said it was odd. The vehicle was gone before police arrived.

- Police intervened in an argument between neighbors on A Street. One group of neighbors were reportedly revving their engine and speeding up and down the street, which upset the other neighbors. The owners of the car denied speeding up and down the street. Police got the neighbors to go back to their seperate homes and quit yelling at each other. 

5/9 - A door was reported ajar at the water treatment plant in Electric City when a city employee arrived there. Nothing appeared missing or out of place. 

- Assisting Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, an officer went to “Pot Palace” to stand by while a National Park Service ranger cited illegal campers who were uncooperative with him. A Lincoln County deputy arrived and the Grand Coulee officer left.

5/10 - Police explained that residents of a Burdin Boulevard residence were allowed to be there and would have to be formally evicted before he could make them leave.

- A man wearing a black shirt and black jacket was reported looking into cars in the area of Stevens Avenue. Police were unable to locate anyone.

5/11 - Someone was seen going through a shed on 5th Street. The homeowner was contacted and said she wanted the man banned from the property. The man was allowed to leave.

5/3 - An officer ran the plates of a white Nissan Sentra parked at Harvest Foods and found the plates belonged to a blue Acura. When the vehicle left, the officer pulled the vehicle over on 6th Street. The driver said he owns multiple cars and that he must have put the wrong plates on the car. The officer told him it was still unlawful. The man’s driver license was also suspended. He said he knew that but needed to get groceries. The officer said he understood, but it was still unlawful. The officer ran the VIN number on the car and found it registered to someone from Wilbur. The vehicle was towed, and the man was cited for driving with a suspended license, and for the mismatched plates. Someone came and picked the man up. 

5/4 - A woman on River Drive saw two women steal a chair. An officer took photos of the matching chair that remained and said he would drive around the neighborhood to see if he saw a match.

5/5 - A man was pulled over for turning from River Drive onto Elmer City Access Road into the oncoming lane. The man had a suspended license and was cited for that. The vehicle was left along the road and people came and picked him up.

- A driver was pulled over when an officer noticed the drivers side headlight out on his white SUV. The man’s license was suspended. He was cited for that. He walked to a friend’s place to get a licensed driver. 

5/7 - A driver was pulled over at Central and Crest Drive because his plates showed the car was registered to a suspended driver. The man said he didn’t know his license was suspended as he hasn’t had any tickets and is a good driver. The officer said he wasn’t sure why he was suspended, but cited him for driving while suspended, and gave him a ride to his Electric City home, giving him two days to get a licensed driver to pick up his car or else it would be impounded.

- An officer checked on the welfare of an elderly man on Spruce Street. The officer looked into a window and saw someone lying on the floor and kicked the door in to gain access. The man was still breathing. An ambulance took him to the hospital. Family members were informed.

5/8 - An officer ran the plates of a damaged vehicle parked at Harvest Foods and saw it was registered to two people, one whose license was suspended. When the vehicle left, the officer pulled it over on Birch Street. The driver, who was suspended, said he just wanted to go fishing and that he was just let out of quarantine, after having had a confirmed case of COVID-19. The officer told him a citation for driving while suspended would be mailed to him, and to let the passenger, who has a valid license, drive the vehicle. 

5/10 - A woman reported her vehicle stolen from the Coulee House motel. Security footage showed a man in a red hat drive off in the vehicle. Multiple agencies were requested to keep an eye out for the vehicle.
