5/12 - Police spoke to a woman on A Street regarding an argument between neighbors.
- A deceased person’s garage was reported open on Boulder Avenue. Police found the house secure, but the garage open and a light on, and so secured the garage.
5/15 - A woman on E Street said that her boyfriend/ex-boyfriend broke the windshield of her car with a skateboard, then locked her out of the house. The man said she broke the windshield. He was arrested for malicious mischief and taken to jail.
- A man on Main Street said his apartment neighbor threatened to beat him up if he didn’t quit banging on the floor, but he was just watching TV. The neighbor admitted to yelling at him and said he would beat him up if the problem kept happening. Police are forwarding the report to the prosecutor to possibly file harassment charges for threatening bodily harm to someone.
- A man on Grand Avenue reported his 2017 Honda Accord missing. The man is disabled and people often help him, so he thought it possible that someone used the car. After 24 hours he reported it stolen. Police are attempting to contact the man’s caretaker.
- Someone reported shots fired near the Crescent Bay boat launch, and said they could hear the bullets going overhead. They said the suspects left in a vehicle, but the only vehicle leaving was a park service vehicle. Nearby fishermen said they had not heard any shots fired.
- Washington State Patrol told police a stolen silver Honda was driving erratically toward Grand Coulee. The vehicle was found at Coulee Gas. An officer drove his car in front of the vehicle, but the driver backed out and drove down SR-155 turning east onto SR-174 toward Wilbur. The vehicle drove about 80 miles per hour, performed multiple turns near Knute Street, Roosevelt Drive, and Banks Avenue, driving through a fence and eventually getting out and running. He attempted to enter a man’s residence, saying he wanted to use the phone. The runner was eventually surrounded by bystanders, who were keeping a safe distance as he stood on a rock formation in a yard. An officer ordered him to his knees which he obeyed. He was arrested, eventually identified, and taken to Grant County Jail.
5/16 - Police investigated a possible burglary at a King Street residence. The residence was secure. The porch light is motion activated and may have been triggered by the wind, not a burglar.
5/16 - A camper at Coulee Playland reported at about 1:30 a.m. that another camper drove his remote control car through her campsite, and yelled at her when confronted about it. The man was told to keep to his campsite and to be quiet at night.
5/17 - A man on Stevens Avenue said that a suspicious person has been creeping around the neighborhood. He also said his car was prowled and he was missing a jacket, wallet with various items inside, and a tile saw.
- A Lincoln Avenue man reported that a neighbor told him someone had been in his empty garage. The man drove near the neighborhood and based on the time and proximity, saw a man in his mid 20’s with unkempt hair he believes could be the suspect. Later that night/early morning, the man woke up to his dogs barking. Checking on his shop, he saw scuff marks on the door like someone had kicked it. There was no damage to the door and nothing taken.
5/17 - A man who had been banned from Coulee Gas a couple weeks earlier was at the gas station. The man will be cited for trespassing.
5/18 - Electric City reported two stop signs pulled from the ground along Park Avenue at Jackson Street and Lincoln Street. There was some damage to the signs from dropping them on the ground. The suspect also reportedly coned off Park Avenue near Stevens Avenue.

5/12 - An officer noticed a Mitsubishi convertible with no front license plate. The officer spoke to the driver and his mother, the passenger, at the Exxon gas station. They requested tribal officers talk to them, and the officer declined, saying they weren’t on the reservation. The woman became angry and called the officer names. The man said he had just bought the car and didn’t yet have a title or registration. He also had a suspended license, for which he was cited. He said a licensed driver was on the way to take control of the vehicle.
- A man was pulled over near the overlook just above Grand Coulee Dam for speeding. He said he didn’t realize he was going that fast, and that he was going to the casino. The officer told him the casino wasn’t open for a few more days. The man had a suspended license. He was cited for that and called someone to drive him home.
5/14 - A woman reported that a letter requesting unemployment was sent to her employer. The officer told her that it was a statewide scam, and that she would get a letter sent to her home as well. He told her how to stop the claim, and requested a copy of the letter.
5/15 - Police took possession of a wallet found on the Elmer City Access Road. Police were able to contact the wallet owner’s family, who said the owner would call police.
