Diane Marie Barham

Diane Marie Barham, 74, "Beloved Wife, Mom, Grandma and Friend", passed away peacefully with her family by her side at her Grand Coulee, Washington home, Wednesday, September 30, 2020. She was born in Seattle, Washington to Charles and June Pilling on February 27, 1946. After attending Blanchette Catholic High School, Diane went on to college and graduated from Seattle University earning her AA Degree.

On October 4, 1969 Diane Pilling united in marriage with Dan Barham in Brewster, Washington. She raised three children making them her priority. They never lacked for her attention. After her children were raised, she went into the working world as a caretaker, helping with kidney patients and finally, Diane truly enjoyed working as an assistant to Rick King at Grand Coulee Physical Therapy, till she quit to care of her Mother. Her greatest joy was always her role as homemaker for her family. Diane loved spending summer days and nights on extended pack trips with Dan into the mountains with their mules and horses. A very special place to Diane was the family cabin on Alta Lake where innumerable happy memories were made, which her family will savor for many years to come. To Diane though, any time spent with Dan, her children and grandchildren was priceless.

Predeceased by both of her parents and brother, Jimmy Pilling, Diane lives on through her love and faithful life's partner of 50 years, Dan Barham; three children: Joe Barham, Belgrade, Montana,  Jennifer Finch (Ron) of Reardan, Washington, and Charlie Barham (Christine) of Airway Heights, Washington; four grandchildren: Shantah, Aaron, Dylan and Devin; five step-grandchildren: Nick, Cortney, Jeremiah, Zachary, and Kayden; two brothers: Denny Pilling (Elva) and Jerry Pilling (Joann)

Due to the present Covid-19 situation, there is no memorial celebration of Diane's life planned at this time.

Strate Funeral Home of Grand Coulee, Washington is assisting the family with services.
