Free streaming service available through library

A free streaming service launched by North Central Washington Libraries, which includes the Grand Coulee Library, offers 30,000 movie titles, including hit movies, documentaries, and kids’ content. And it all only requires a library card to access.

The streaming service, called Kanopy, was announced on the NCW LIbraries blog page on Dec. 21, 2020.

Kanopy is accessible via computers, mobile and tablet apps for iPhone and Android, as well as SmartTV apps like Roku, Apple TV, and Fire Stick.

Kids’ content is unlimited for viewers, and for other content, users receive eight free viewing credits per month.

For more information, or to sign up, go to the https://ncwlibraries.kanopy.com/ and create an account. You will need your library card, pin, and an email address to sign up.

Those without a library card can sign up for an e-card. Instructions on how to do so can be found at http://www.ncwlibraries.org/blog/introducing-our-new-ecards.

The Grand Coulee Library can be reached by calling (509) 633-0972 and is open from 3-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, and from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
