1/25 - Police checked on a woman on Second Street about whom friends were concerned. While checking a second day, police talked to the woman, who said she had been sick but was fine.
1/26 - Police spoke with a tribal officer who said he had helped push a car off the roadway near North Dam. The car had run out of gas. The driver said she needed to get gas money in Delano and would move the vehicle as soon as possible.
1/28 - A man on Boulder Avenue reported that two local numbers tried calling him to gain personal information. Police were unable to reach anyone at those numbers, and the numbers weren’t connected to anyone, according to police systems.
- Police responded to a 911 hang-up call on Stevens Avenue in Electric City. A woman said she had called because her husband was beating up the couch. The police report states that in searching through state laws, police didn’t find any laws related to crimes against couches.
1/29 - Someone reported a possible kidnapping when, at the Safeway parking lot, a “young person” and another person were sitting in the back of a Subaru, and when the young person looked at the reporting party, the other person turned their head back so as not to look. The young person was said to have a “look of desperation” on their face as the vehicle left. Police were unable to locate the vehicle and could not reach the reporting party again.
1/30 - Occupants of a room at the Skydeck motel were told of a noise complaint and said they would keep the noise down.
- Kids were reported to have been knocking on doors and running away in the Hill Avenue area. Police didn’t find any kids in the area.
2/1 - Police spoke to a man walking along Spokane Boulevard reported as flailing his arms and “might be on something”. Police found the man to be calm and normal. The man said he was just going for a walk. Police reminded him to stay out of the roadway.
- The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reported that a man driving a white Chevrolet Cruze had left his wife at the rest stop near Creston and was heading towards Grand Coulee. A Grand Coulee officer pulled the man over near the Lincoln/Grant county line. The man said he thought his wife was still sleeping in the back seat and was unaware he had left her at the rest stop. He turned around to go pick her up.

1/28 - A man was arrested and taken to jail after allegedly violating a no-contact court order by going to a woman’s house on Tulip Street, where police found him in the backyard.
1/30 - A woman reported that an Omak business owner had posted a “snitch list” on Facebook that included people’s names, phone numbers, and email addresses. An officer explained that it was not a crime for him to post that information as it was public information, and also that since it happened outside of Coulee Dam it wasn’t the responsibility of the Coulee Dam Police Department to investigate.
- Police arrested a woman at the River Drive apartments for a previous possession of a controlled substance charge. Police explained to her that she would only be brought to the police department for the “administrative booking process” and then released, which is what happened.
1/31 - Police went to Aspen Street where kids said they had seen people under the house a few weeks back. Police left after the kids said there were no people currently under the house.
