Proceeds go to National Honor Society scholarship and book project
Lake Roosevelt’s National Honor Society is holding a drive-thru spaghetti feed on Friday at the baseball and softball teams’ doubleheaders in Coulee Dam and Grand Coulee.
The group is raising money to purchase a new book for every LR student to take home for summer reading, as well as for the annual Steve Breeze Memorial Scholarship, NHS Advisor Nicole Rasmussen said.
The National Honor Society is also looking for businesses that want to partner in the effort by donating or sponsoring the purchase of books for a grade level.
The drive-through spaghetti feed is being held Friday, April 30, from 5-6 p.m. at the softball field in Grand Coulee at the former middle school, and at the LR baseball field in Coulee Dam.
A $10 meal includes spaghetti, garlic bread drink and desert.
Masks are required at the event.
Additionally, donations can be dropped off at Lake Roosevelt High School or mailed to NHS Fundraiser, 505 Crest Drive, Coulee Dam, WA 99116.
