Wrestlers compete at Oroville, Wahluke

Home match scheduled for today

The Raiders wrestled in Oroville and in Mattawa this past week, and are scheduled to host an event today (June 9)  in the gym in Coulee Dam.

The Raiders wrestled in the Oroville Mix & Match tournament on June 2 and at Wahluke High School in Mattawa on June 5.

Their scheduled home event in the Raider gym in Coulee Dam today starts at 5 p.m.

Lady Raiders win a game before other hoops canceled

The Lady Raiders defeated the Lady Tigers in Tonasket on June 1, 58-43, making the Lake Roosevelt girls undefeated this season with a 4-0 win-loss record. 

Their June 4 and 5 games against Omak and Brewster were canceled.

A June 5 notice on the Raider sports website says that the June 5 game was canceled for both boys' and girls' basketball because a student athlete had tested positive for COVI-19.

Games were also canceled for June 7 and 8.

If they aren't canceled, too, the next games on the schedule are June 14 at home against Royal High School at 6 p.m., at home on June 18 with Manson at 6 p.m., and in Ephrata on June 19 at 4 p.m.

Other games canceled

The Lake Roosevelt Raiders defeated the Tonasket Tigers on the road on June 1, winning with a 62-49 final score. 

The Raiders have a 3-1 win-loss record this season.

Their June 4 and 5 games against Omak and Brewster were canceled due to the positive covid test.

Their June 8 game was also canceled.

Their next games, if not canceled, are June 14 at home against Royal High School at 7:30 p.m., at home on June 18 with Manson at 7:30 p.m., and in Ephrata on June 19 at 5:30 p.m.
