Raider boys lose to Royal

The Raider basketball team lost a home game to Royal on Monday.

The game was off to a rough start for the Raiders who trailed Royal 24-2 at the end of the first quarter.

The Raiders found a rhythm in the second quarter, scoring 22 points to Royal's 16 for a halftime score of 40-24.

In the second half, Royal scored 25 more points to LR's 22 for a 65-46 final.

The Raiders are scheduled to host Manson on Friday at 7:30 p.m., and to play Ephrata on the road Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
