8/10 - Fuel was reportedly siphoned out of a city vehicle parked at the city shop on Grand Avenue, as well as fuel siphoned out of a fuel pump.
- A 2001 Ford F150 rear ended a 2017 Ford F150 near the intersection of SR-155 and the SunBank Resort turnoff. The information was turned over to a state patrolman who took over the situation.
- A one legged, unlicensed man was allowed to move his vehicle which was partially blocking the roadway of Continental Heights.
- A woman was advised by police to get a no contact order from the county after reporting that after breaking up with her boyfriend, he had sent obscene text messages and followed her on SR-155 between Grand Coulee and Coulee Dam.
- A woman reported multiple fraudulent charges to her debit card since May totalling $722, and was provided a case number to give to her financial institution.
- Police told a man on E Street that they couldn’t perform a welfare check on his neighbor, whom he hadn’t seen in a few days, because of house bill 1310.
- Police stood by as a man retrieved his belongings from a Main Street residence where a woman lived with a no contact order against him.
- Police will perform periodic checks of the Washington Flats rock pit area where the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation reported trash left by people staying overnight in the area. Police found a tarp and plastic cup in that area.
8/11 - Police did not respond to a request to help find lost keys in the Continental Heights area.
8/12 - Police pushed a woman’s car off of the causeway on SR-155 to a safe spot. She had run out of gas. She was given a ride to her residence in Grand Coulee.
- A Sedro-Woolley, Washington man is facing theft charges after taking fencing from an Electric City man. The Electric City man had specific fencing for sale on the internet, and the Sedro-Woolley man took other fencing, once he arrived in Electric City, and didn’t like what was for sale. He failed to meet the Electric City man at the property where the fencing was taken. Police spoke to him, and he admitted to taking fencing other than what was for sale. He said he wanted $100 for his troubles.
- Police found a dog to be just fine after following up on a report of animal cruelty involving a dog inside of a car on Fortuyn Road.
8/13 - Someone reported a man walking on SR-155 near Pole Park. The man was gone upon police arrival.
8/14 - Police investigated a 911-hangup call from Coulee Playland in which a woman reportedly said she was “freaking out” and to “just let her freak out,” according to the police report. Eventually police spoke to a woman who explained that her son had thrown his phone in frustration and that she tried to restart his phone, and accidentally activated the emergency alert option.
- A driver struck another vehicle while maneuvering in the Safeway parking lot.
- Police responded to a report of a naked woman walking near the Coulee Dam Federal Credit Union. A Grand Coulee officer joined a Coulee Dam officer, who had given the woman a blanket, in responding to the report. The woman, from the Inchelium area, knew the day of the week and the current president, when asked by police to assess her mental state. She was confused by her nudity, not sure where her clothes went. She was taken to the Coulee Dam police station to hydrate, drinking a whole glass of water, and her family was contacted to get her. She told police she suffers from schizophrenia.
8/15 - A Honda creating a “significant traffic hazard” was towed from where it was parked on Goodfellow Avenue and Park Avenue after police evaluated the situation.
- A woman on Butler Square reported that someone had written the number “42” and the word “boom” in the dirt on her car. The woman was unconcerned, but reported the incident due to friends who said it could be related to a human trafficking operation. No evidence suggested such a thing.
- A man whom police had probable cause to arrest was spotted on Birch Street asleep on a bench. A Grand Coulee officer, along with another officer and a Coulee Dam officer detained him. The Coulee Dam officer had evidence of an assault from earlier in the day.
8/16 - A man’s motorhome rolled backward into the water at the Crescent Bay Boat Launch. He said he put it in park then got out to take the boat off the trailer. AAA said they don’t remove vehicles from water. The National Park Service pulled the motorhome from the launch ramp with a tow strap. A tow company said the motorhome was too big for them to tow.
- A woman was arrested for assault and taken to jail following an incident near Stevens Avenue and Grand Avenue where she got out of the car of her ex boyfriend, who was attempting to drive her home. The woman, who was intoxicated, allegedly threw several punches at him. She also allegedly spit on a city worker who was attempting to break up the fight and on an officer at the hospital to determine her level of intoxication.
- A man in a Dodge truck reportedly flashed a firearm at someone during a road rage incident. Police didn’t locate the suspect.
- Coulee Dam man called police to see if his car was stolen or possibly towed. It turned out it had been towed to Moses Lake from Park Avenue in Electric City for being parked in a way that blocked the road.
