Taxes are due by November 1

I want to remind our Grant County taxpayers that real, mobile home, personal property 2nd half taxes are due by November 1st. Since October 31 is on the weekend, the due date is extended to the next business day. If you are sending your payment by mail, please make sure your envelope is postmarked on or before November 1st to avoid being considered delinquent. Please verify that all parcels that you intend to pay were included on your statements. Please send the bottom right side coupon of your statements if you are paying by mail for proper crediting. If you have more than one coupon, you may make one check for the total taxes and please remember to sign your check. A drop box is set up outside the courthouse next to the election ballot drop off box for those taxpayers who wish to drop off their tax payment and do not need a receipt. There is also a drop box in our office. We will be open during noontime October 25th through November 1st. Please also take advantage of reviewing information regarding your parcel on http://www.grantcountywa.gov. Click on Parcel Information to open TaxSifter.

You can also pay your taxes online on our website http://www.grantcountywa.gov under the Treasurer’s link under Elected Officials and also under Online Payments under Quick Links where you click on TaxSifter in the Treasurer’s Office section. Payments by credit cards, debit cards or Echecks can be done through our website and now credit and debit cards can be used to pay in our office including processing fees.

With the county’s new website, there is an opportunity to be informed on the latest news releases of upcoming events and reminders of taxes due. Click on “Notify Me” to subscribe to the News Flash for the Treasurer’s office.

Any questions regarding your taxes, please call 754‑2011 x4201.
