PRELIMINARY BUDGET

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 2022 Preliminary Budget Public Hearing will be held by the GRAND COULEE CITY COUNCIL, in the council chambers, 306 Midway Avenue, on November 16, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to provide both written and oral comments concerning the 2021 budget at said public hearing. Information to join the meeting via ZOOM will be available Monday, November 15, 2021. Please contact city hall at (509)633-1150.

A copy of the 2022 Preliminary Budget for the City of Grand Coulee will be available to the public on November 30, 2021, at the City Clerk's office, 306 Midway Ave., P.O. Box 180, Grand Coulee, WA 99133.

Notice is hereby given that Port District #7 of Grant County, Washington will be changing their Regular Meeting for the month of November from 11/25/21 to 11/18/21.  The Budget Hearing for 2022 will be held the same day of the regular meeting at 3:45 pm.  The regular meeting will follow immediately after the Budget Hearing.  Both meetings will be held by telephone conference call-in.  Anyone wishing to join the conference call can contact the District Secretary at portdistrict7@gmail.com for connection instructions.

PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN; The Town of Nespelem will hold a Public Hearing at Town Hall, 330 9th, Nespelem, WA 99155, November 10, 2021 at 5:15 pm.

The Public Hearing is to adopt Ordinance 2021-05 Base Water Rate Increase by $5. The increase will be in effect January 1, 2022.

NOTICE OF LAWSUIT

A lawsuit has been filed against you in the above-stated Court by the Petitioners above. In order to defend against this lawsuit, you must answer the Complaint by stating your defense in writing and filing it by mail or in person upon the Petitioners and with the Court. If you fail to do this within twenty days if you live on the Colville Reservation and thirty days if you live off the Colville Reservation, after the date of the first publication of this Summons, a default judgment may be entered against you.

A default judgment is one where the Petitioners are entitled to receive what they are asking for in the Complaint because you have not answered the complaint in writing. An Eviction hearing shall be set for December 7, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at the Colville Tribal Courthouse, Nespelem, Washington.
