11/9 - A Lincoln Avenue man reported finding his cat in his neighbor’s trap. The neighbor was confrontational when the reporting party confronted him about it. The neighbor told police that neighborhood cats spray where he parks his boat and RV. Police told the neighbor that what he was doing wasn’t illegal, but he should use caution as his neighbors do have pets.

- A man was reported as staring inside the Lakeside Fitness gym windows, in one instance displaying a knife. The man was banned from the gym.

11/10 - Police looked into a report of litter on U.S. Bureau of Reclamation property on D Street. They spoke to a neighboring resident who said she didn’t know anything about the garbage, and didn’t throw it over the fence. She said she would have it removed.

- An officer struck a new foundation at the H&H Grocery parking lot with his patrol car, causing about $2,500 in damage to the vehicle, and $1,000 worth to the foundation. Police gave insurance information to an employee at the grocery store.

11/11 - A Pearl Avenue woman reported $2,800 worth of items stolen out of a vehicle that was likely unlocked on Peart Avenue. The items included two pairs of binoculars, a spotting scope, and a camera.

11/12 - Two chainsaws were reported stolen out of a locked vehicle on Continental Heights, valued at a combined total of $2,200.

- A man was reported as damaging a charging cable display at the 4-Corners gas station. The man was highly intoxicated. Police spoke to him outside the store. The man finished many sentences with a racial slur. The man’s girlfriend showed up, hoping the situation would turn out better. Police ended up tasing the man after he took off his jacket and approached an officer in an aggressive manner. He was arrested and taken to jail, charged with malicious mischief and disorderly conduct.

11/13 - Police investigated a report of someone stealing lumber from a house being built on Bay Area Drive. It turns out a man working on the construction was carrying some lumber, and walked towards a hill out of curiosity about what was over there, but wasn’t stealing the lumber. 

11/14 - A suspicious vehicle was reported near the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation fire station construction site. People were reportedly congregating outside the vehicle at Pole Park, across the street, later speeding off. Police noted no items appeared disturbed at the construction site.

- An officer drew his pistol and announced his presence at about 7 a.m. at Les Schwab where an alarm had gone off. No one was there. It seemed the strong wind had blown a door open. A street sign nearby had also blown down. A Main Street door also appeared to have blown open, which police also secured.

11/15 - Police checked on an elderly couple on Second Street at the request of Adult Protective Services. The couple had returned to living in a residence without electricity after fire damage had occurred. A woman invited police inside. She was using a battery operated lantern for light. She said she and her husband didn’t need anything from police.

- Police responded when a man called just after 3 a.m. about someone in his driveway. He got upset when police wouldn’t chase the vehicle just driving off, although he wasn’t sure if a crime had been committed. He’d heard a cough outside, his motion-activated light came on, and a small pickup was parked in his driveway. The officer explained new police restrictions resulting from a law passed this year. The officer searched the area and the caller’s other vehicle for a possible second subject the caller thought might still be there. The caller said he would look at his security footage for images. The officer searched for a 90s-era dark-color Chevy S-10 but didn’t find one.

11/9 - Police spoke to a suspicious man reported at the school who wouldn’t talk to anyone or explain why he was there. When police asked him what he needed, he said he needed a ride to Electric City. Police gave him a ride.

- Police responded to a report of a man stumbling into traffic on SR-155 near Lincoln Avenue. They told him to stay out of the road, and he continued walking toward Grand Coulee.
