Christmas scene staged live

Rachael Dowlen and Andrew Salinas play the parts of Mary and Joseph with a doll as Jesus in the manger Saturday night at the Coulee Dam Community Church on Central Drive. The church put on the display, complete with livestock (goats, alpaca), a choir singing carols, and campfires with people visiting, both Friday and Saturday nights. "I love it," said Mike Dowlen, Rachael's father, "we had a steady crowd both nights." He said they'd just hoped the community would enjoy it.
