Okanogan County Fairgrounds RV Park Pedestal Replacement

Okanogan County is soliciting sealed bids from interested licensed Electric Companies for the installation of new electrical pedestals at the Okanogan County Fairgrounds.

The following is a project description:

The removal of old RV Park pedestals. Provide and install all metering equipment using Okanogan PUD specification. Install proper grounds per NEC regulations. Install 120/208-volt, three phase panels 124 RV sites throughout the fairgrounds. Obtain all proper permits and inspections. Conduct all excavation and back fill for electrical installation. Work with local utility companies to insure proper connection.

Project bid instructions:

Sealed bids will be received by the Okanogan County Board of County Commissioners at 123 5th Street Ave. N., Okanogan, WA until 4:00 p.m. on January 21, 2022. The bids received will then be opened and publicly read. All bids shall be marked “SEALED BID FOR FAIRGROUNDS IRRIGATION PROJECT” on the outside of the envelope.

The County of Okanogan in accordance with section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 04) an the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), commits to nondiscrimination on the basis of disability, in all of it programs and activities.

The County of Okanogan in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex, in consideration for an award.

Contract shall comply with Washington State Prevailing Wage RCW’s and Colville Confederated Tribes TERO program.

The Okanogan County Fairgrounds Office and Board of County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids for cause.

Okanogan County Fairgrounds Irrigation System

Okanogan County is soliciting sealed bids from interested licensed Irrigation Installation Companies for the installation of an on-site underground irrigation system.

The following is a project description:

The installation of an irrigation system on the south Fairgrounds that covers approximately 240,000 square feet. Project will include integrating a programmable, electric sprinkler system into the already established water infrastructure, sprinkler system must be able to properly irrigate at specified times, withstand high traffic, and function with the current irrigation system. The project will include installation of necessary water and electric systems that meet state guidelines.

Tuesday, February 8th, 2022

A Special Election will be held in the below mentioned districts for the purpose of submitting to the voters for their approval or rejection the following.

Curlew School District No. 50J- Replacement Educational Programs and Operation Levy

Okanogan School District No. 105- Replacement Technology Levy

Pateros School District No. 122-70J- Replacement Educational Programs and Operation Levy

Lake Chelan School District No. 129- Replacement Educational Programs and Operation Levy

Grand Coulee Dam School District No.301J- Replacement Educational Programs and Operation Levy

Grand Coulee Dam School District No. 301J- Replacement Capital Levy for Safety, Technology and Facilities Improvements

Tonasket School District No. 404- Replacement Educational Programs and Operation Levy

Oroville School District No.410- Replacement Educational Programs and Operation Levy

The registration deadline for online registrations, mail-in registrations is January 31st, 2022. Any qualified elector who is not registered to vote in the State of Washington may register to vote in person at the Auditor’s Office up to and including February 8, 2022.

You can register or obtain registration forms at the Auditor’s Office, on line at http://www.vote.wa.gov, and Department of Licensing.

The Okanogan County Auditor’s Office, 149 3rd Ave N, Room 104, at the County Courthouse, will be open so voters may obtain replacement ballots, drop off voted ballots, obtain provisional ballots, and use the Accessible Voting Units, at the following times.

Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM January 21st-February 7th, 2022

On Election Day only, February 8th, 2022, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM.

Voters needing additional information or assistance with voter registration forms or voting, may call (509) 422-7240. Voters unable to use the mail-in ballot may use the Accessible Voting Unit available at the County Auditor’s Office.

Ballots require no postage and must be postmarked by the day of the election. Check with your local Post Office for deadlines to have your ballot postmarked properly.

Meetings of the Okanogan County Canvassing Board are open, public meetings and shall be continued until the activities for which the following meetings are held have been completed. Canvass Board meetings are held in the Okanogan County Auditor’s Office, 149 3rd Ave N, Room 104, at the County Courthouse, in Okanogan.

Wednesday, February 16th, 2022 at 11:00 AM to determine the status of any provisional or challenged ballots

Friday, February 18th, 2022 at 2:00 PM to canvass the votes cast and certify the election
