1/11 - A man was allowed to push a Chevy Astro out of the roadway at King Street and Dill Avenue rather than police having the vehicle towed, while another man was said to be walking to get a gas can to fuel up the car which had run out of gas. 

- Police spoke to a man who has frequent run-ins with police about him looking in vehicles parked at the Mexican restaurant on Grand Coulee Avenue. The man said he was looking for a cigarette. The next day police told him not to knock on Hill Avenue doors at 3:30 a.m. to try to score drugs. They then gave him a courtesy ride to the casino in Coulee Dam.

1/12 - A Noble Road homeowner chased off a man who was trying to gain entry to his home. He said the man ran toward Martin Road when he saw his handgun. 

- Police helped a man push a vehicle out of the roadway at the “Four Corners” intersection of SR-174 and SR-155.

1/13 - An A Street woman reported a kitten abandoned at her house. Police helped her get in touch with an animal outreach program.

- A car parked partially in the roadway of Grand Avenue had tabs that expired in 2016 and was towed. 

1/14 - A man reported someone hit his car while it was parked outside a Main Street bar. Damage included a broken taillight, dents, and scratches estimated at $2,500. A piece of another vehicle’s taillight was found and taken by police as evidence of a hit-and-run.

- A check was requested on the welfare of a man walking on the ice of Banks Lake. Police saw a man walking toward some tents on the ice and explained to the reporting party that the man was ice fishing.

1/17 - Police responded to Roosevelt Drive and spoke to a man and woman leaving a residence on a bike who said they didn’t plan to return. The resident doesn’t want the man at her residence.

Coulee Dam

1/12 - A man reported as trespassing on school grounds was found walking on Elmer City Access Road. He has been told not to trespass on school grounds multiple times.

- A woman on Crest Drive explained to police responding to an alarm about 6:30 p.m.  that she’d set it off after being locked inside by a coworker.

- Police checked on a vehicle on Pine Street where a man said its lights looked on when he checked his security camera. Police didn’t see any lights on, tracks in the snow, or anything else amiss. The man said the lights may have been a reflection.

- Police checked on a house under construction on Tilmus Street where there were tracks in the snow. No one was inside. 

1/13 - Police gave a ride to Nespelem to a man who had been sleeping in a bathroom in a park. 

1/14 - Police stood by the area of River Drive and 11th Street where kids were reportedly throwing snowballs at cars. No snowballs were thrown while the officer was there.
