Raiders to host three home games this week

Raider basketball fans will have plenty to do later this week, with the Raiders scheduled to host games three nights in a row.

The Raiders were scheduled to play Tonasket last night, results of which will be reported on next week.

This Thursday, Jan. 20, the Raiders are scheduled to play Brewster in a game rescheduled from last week, beginning at 7 p.m.

The Raiders currently are third in the Central Washington 2B league with a win-loss record of 3-1 in the league, 6-2 overall.

They trail behind Okanogan (7-0, 12-1) and Brewster (4-2, 9-4), so a win against Brewster could help tremendously toward making a playoff run, with only the top two teams in the league moving forward into the postseason.

The Raiders are scheduled to play both Okanogan and Brewster a second time in early February.

But next on the schedule, on Friday, Jan. 21, LR is scheduled to host Oroville at 7:30 p.m., then Brewster on Saturday, Jan. 22. Both games start at 7:30 p.m.

They’ll travel to Liberty Bell Jan. 25 for a game at 7:30 p.m.
