3/14 - A woman was reported as taking scrap metal from inside a fenced area at the Delano Transfer Station, then walking towards the PUD building. Police spoke to a man walking on trails near the PUD building and noted that he had a dryer cord wrapped around himself. The transfer station manager said he couldn’t describe an additional suspect. He also told police he wouldn’t want to press charges if police found the woman because it likely wouldn’t make a difference.
3/17 - Police spoke to two women who had pushed and shoved each other during an argument. They agreed it would be best to talk about their issues after they had gotten some sleep.
- Police told a man trying to stay warm in the breezeway of Continental Heights apartments that he could stay warm in the gas station until his ride arrived from Spokane.
- A man reported his pistol stolen out of his truck the day before, possibly while parked at Safeway.
3/19 - Someone was playing loud music at the Continental Heights apartments at 2 a.m. No one answered the door when police knocked. Police attempted to write a citation for breaching the peace but there was a technical issue.
- A woman faces charges of theft and vehicle prowling after allegedly being highly intoxicated and entering a Burdin Boulevard man’s truck and taking two twenty-dollar bills and an FM transmitter.
- There was a misunderstanding with an Electric Boulevard man thinking it was a “free day” at the Delano Transfer Station and so driving off after dumping off some items. The man went back and paid.
- Police told a hospital employee to destroy drug paraphernalia that had been found in a chair in the lobby.
3/20 - A man in pajama pants and a hoodie was said to be in the roadway of Coulee Boulevard, causing traffic problems. Police found the man and spoke to him, noting that he was “very aware.” The man said he hadn’t entered the roadway and continued to jog along the side of the road.
3/21 - Police took a tan and white dog, which looked to be a husky or malamute type breed, to Grant County Animal Outreach after being unable to find the owner. The dog was found in the Crescent Bay area and brought to the police station by people concerned it could get hit by a car.

3/19 - Police went to the Chevron gas station where a woman was said to have been locked in the bathroom for about a half an hour. By the time police arrived, the woman had been freed from the bathroom. Police asked how she got locked in there in the first place, and the people there didn’t know.
3/20 - A man was grabbing onto a Stevens Avenue resident’s fence, and when confronted, took off on foot. Police recognized the man in a photo as someone who walks around a lot. They found him and talked to him, saying that that kind of behavior needed to stop.
