Golfers tee off at Okanogan

Raider golfers competed at the Okanogan Valley Golf Course on April 12, and again on April 14.

“We were able to get some of our kids their very first competitive rounds under their belts, which was great,” Head Coach Steve Files said. “Conditions (including snow flurries) were very tough on Tuesday [April 12], but Thursday [April 14] was decent where Colton Jackson and Trevan Barnaby shot their best rounds of the season so far.”

Jackson finished the course in 105 strokes while Barnaby finished in 124.

The Raiders are scheduled to play on their home course, the Banks Lake Golf Course, today, April 20, at 2:30 p.m., competing with golfers from Okanogan and Oroville.

They’re then scheduled to compete on Bear Creek Golf Course at 2 p.m. on April 21 with Okanogan golfers, then in Oroville on April 25 at the golf course there at 2:30 p.m.
