Police
6/6 - A man on Spokane Boulevard reported a man running through his yard headed toward Four Corners. Police spoke to the runner who said he cut through the yard to save time. The property owner reported that the same man had previously gone through his vehicles. Police told him to call if he saw the man there again.
6/8 - Two men were reported as arguing near the former Pepper Jack’s restaurant. The men were gone by the time police arrived.
- Police stood by while a woman retrieved belongings from a former residence on Burdin Boulevard.
- Police went to Second Street and Burdin Boulevard where a man was reported yelling. He told police he was upset about his missing cat.
6/9 - A discharged hospital patient refused to leave, and had taken a wheelchair when he finally did. Police found him in the parking lot, and he returned the wheelchair.
- A woman was arrested for assault and resisting arrest after allegedly throwing coffee in her sister’s face on Roosevelt Drive. Family members told police she acts out when she is coming off of drugs.
- Police went to King Street where a large amount of trash was piled and a resident told police they were disposing of it properly, lining up a truck to use to dump it.
- While following up on a complaint, police didn’t hear any barking dogs on Diamond Street.
6/10 - An elderly man was reported as seeming confused when he drove down Kelso Avenue. Police checked on him, and he was fine.
6/11 - Police took to jail a man whom tribal police had arrested near Columbia and Douglas Avenues in Coulee Dam. He was wanted on an assault warrant.
- A man was bitten by a leashed dog at a campsite at Osborn Bay. The man wanted the campers kicked out. Police spoke to the campers and determined that since they had the dog leashed, and shortened its leash, and the dog was simply protecting their campsite from a stranger, that they had done nothing wrong, and warned the man about approaching campsites. The man said he was picking up trash at the campsite.
6/12 - Police spoke to a man reportedly yelling in the area of Cardinal Road. He was stumbling and appeared intoxicated. He agreed to be seen by hospital staff and was given a ride to the hospital.
6/13 - A Weil Place dog was moved inside after a noise complaint about the dog barking while tied to a tree.

6/6 - Police found a Samsung Galaxy with a green case near Holly Street and Sixth Street and held onto it for safekeeping.
6/7 - A student reported another student had punched her in the head and shoulder. Police reviewed video. It looked like the swings the alleged accoster made could have been playful, but it wasn’t exactly clear. There will be further review for possible assault charges.
6/11 - Police responded to city hall when a 3-year-old child opened a door that tripped an alarm during a graduation party held in the ballroom of the building. The alarm was reset.
6/12 - A dog was brought to police that had been wandering down the middle of the bridge.
