Hello friends and family if you don't know I am Audrey Hansen one of the class speakers, and class president.
I, like many of my classmates, remember our very first day of freshman year. We were given our first lockers upstairs on the North side of the hallway. Getting a bottom locker was the most of our worries. Excited to make our way through that hallway. Up to the point we are on the opposite wall, crazy. Who would've thought the small 1 by 2 and half foot place you hold your school work would hold so much power.
Well we made it to those lockers, faster than we ever knew possible. All wishing we could use them one last time.
To the underclassman here. You're only in high school once. So go to every Friday night light football game, sporting event, and dance you can. Don't wish for the end of the school day, week, or year to come sooner. Just live in the moment. I know each and every one of you have heard it before, but here it is again. High school goes by way faster than you think possible so cherish every moment of it and make of it what you can. Those are some wise words from Audrey Hansen so take them to heart.
For those that don't know, our class went to Disneyland for our senior trip. I learned a lot about my class during this trip. Like, Alonzo and I are the best bowlers in our class, Colten came in far second with a weak score of 105. Also Valerie, Emma, and I are the best saverhut team to come from Lake Roosevelt. But most importantly as we walked into Disneyland, I watched each of my classmates' faces light up with excitement, this reminded me just how much we are still just kids. But I guess Lake Roosevelt High School had decided that 4 years was enough and are now throwing us out into the world.
But don't worry we are coming well prepared all thanks to Mrs. Duclos.
(Reniff?)
Now I must thank all of our teachers, coaches, and administrators for helping us get to this point. We couldn't have done it without you.
And a very special thank you from our class, to Mrs. Sheila Darnold for always being there with open arms, and a little bit of candy. She is the rock in our community. And we will be forever grateful for what she does.
Congrats class of 2022, I'm beyond happy I spent these last 12 years with all you.
