The following is a summary of an ordinance passed by the Grand Coulee City Council June 19, 2022:
ORDINANCE NO. 1084
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF GRAND COULEE, WASHINGTON AMENDING SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE 908 CIVIL SERVICE SYSTEM AND ESTABLISHING A CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION WHICH SHALL SUBSTANTIALLY ACCOMPLISH THE PURPOSE OF CHAPTER 41.12 OF THE REVISED CODE OF WASHINGTON, AS IT RELATES TO FULL-TIME PERMANENT EMPLOYEES OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION
The City of Electric City intends to file an application with the Community Economic Revitalization Board (CERB) to secure funding to support a feasibility study to fund a water rights consultant to explore the existing water rights, regulatory agency requirements and local hydrogeology consistent with the purposes of the CERB. The CERB Project represents a commitment resources toward enhancing the vitality of the area and expansion of economic and employment opportunities of the City of Electric City.

The City of Electric City is seeking letters of interest from individuals willing to serve on the City Park Advisory Committee. The advisory committee will review, assess and make recommendations to the City Council regarding the development of a city Park. You must be a resident of the city to apply for this position. Description of proposal: Town of Nespelem to adopt Critical Areas Ordinance (CAO).
Lead agency: Town of Nespelem, Washington
Location of proposal: Town of Nespelem, 330 9th St. Nespelem, WA 99155
The Town of Nespelem has determined that this proposal will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030. We have reviewed the attached Environmental Checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public on request.
X: This DNS is issued under WAC 197-11-340(2); the lead agency will not act on this proposal for 14 days from July 6, 2022. Comments must be submitted by 5 p.m., July 20, 2022.
