8/24 - A garbage truck backed into another vehicle on Continental Heights that was in the garbage truck’s blindspot. Police helped the drivers exchange information. The other car had damage to the hood, bumper, and headlights but was able to be driven from the scene.
8/25 - Police responded to the Coulee Playland area where a camper turning into the campground was rear ended by a pickup while the driver was adjusting the volume of her music. There was significant damage to the pickup which was towed from the scene.
8/26 - Police responded to a report of yelling during an argument involving a man and woman on King Street. The woman said the man owed her rent and that he had given her his chainsaw as collateral. The man denied doing so and wanted his chainsaw back. He appeared intoxicated. A third person showed up and picked the man up to take him and his dog for a dog grooming appointment. Police explained to the woman that the issue was a civil matter.
8/27 - Two young men were banned from a store on Midway Avenue when they made an employee uncomfortable that one of them reportedly had had some kind of relationship with before.
- A woman allegedly smoked meth at the gas station at Four Corners but told an employee it was incense. The employee wanted the woman banned and refused to sell her a popsicle. She allegedly stole the popsicle. Police talked to her from the vehicle she was riding in on Spokane Way. She said she had wanted to pay for a popsicle. The vehicle left after she spoke with police.
8/28 - A person’s caretaker was reported missing after taking a dog for a walk and having been gone for five hours in the area of SR-174. Police looked around for the person but were then told that person had been found and was fine.
- A man was cited for driving under the influence after being pulled over for speeding near Sunbanks Resort. A Breathalyzer test showed an alcohol content between 0.159 and 0.169, about twice the 0.08 limit in Washington state.
8/29 - A woman reported her car being rear ended while in line for coffee at a Midway Avenue coffee shop. Police collected information, and there didn’t seem to be much, if any, damage from the collision.
- Police responded to a report of someone flying a drone near the visitor center at the Grand Coulee Dam. A man cooperated with police and put his drone in his car, and asked about the regulations about flying drones. There are no signs at the visitor center against drones, although there are at Riley Point, a pullover spot near the top of the dam.

8/27 - Police were told of a broken toilet in the road at Central Drive and 6th Street. Police saw broken white porcelain there. Police moved bigger chunks before a citizen and a city employee arrived to sweep up the rest.
8/28 - A woman on Central Drive was cited for malicious mischief after breaking a cup during an argument with her spouse.
