The Lady Raiders won a road game but lost at home last week, making for a 3-2 win-loss record.
The Lady Raiders played in Tonasket Sept. 20, where they beat the Lady Tigers 3-0.
"It was a good game for our girls," Head Coach Meagan Caudell said. "Shyanne Marchand had nine ace serves over the net. Carly [Neddo] in all three sets had nine kills, and Shyanne Marchand also had assists! Jenna Cleveland also really stepped up and had five big kills for our team. She was really strong this game! Zalissa Finley had three solo blocks and also a handful of kills. Nevaeh [English] did great for us offensively; she had 12 digs. Altogether the girls really showed up for one another. ... It was an overall great game."
The Lady Raiders hosted the Manson Lady Trojans Sept. 22 in Coulee Dam, losing 3-0.
"We lost in three but really stuck with them," Caudell said. "The girls did so well against a big team. Manson is pretty consistently good offensively, so we really stepped up on our defense and were able to run plays and make good offensive moves."
LR was scheduled to host Brewster last night, results of which will be in next week's newspaper.
They're scheduled to play in Oroville Sept. 29 at 6:30 p.m.
A home game is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, against Almira-Coulee-Hartline.
Another home game is set for Oct 4 at 6:30 p.m. with Liberty Bell.
