2nd Harvest Distribution halts all food deliveries to Okanogan County Food Pantries due to soaring prices and lower crop yields

OCCAC announcers today that all food delivery coming from distributer 2nd Harvest will no longer reach the Okanogan County during the next few months.

OCCAC is the lead contractor and distributor for all 9 food pantries in Okanogan County. Our efforts depend on companies like 2nd Harvest to deliver commodity foods to our Distribution center on Okanogan.

We are urging all business and community to help OCCAC navigate this emergency. This is an immediate release to all local media to assist our agency in securing cash or food donations so we can provide much needed food during the holiday to our community in need.
