ORDINANCE ADOPTED BY THE TOWN OF COULEE DAM

Ordinance 807 – an ordinance amending the Coulee Dam Unified Development Code. The Unified Development Code for the Town of Coulee Dam is being updated as part of the Washington State Growth Management Act, Periodic Update. The code provisions for electrical vehicles and their associated charging stations are being incorporated into the code.

The following Articles are being amended:

Article II Definitions

Article V, Table 13.1 Table of Land Uses

Article V, Section 25 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

SEPA Review: The lead agency for this proposal has determined that it does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public on request.

SEPA Comment Period: January 18, 2023 – February 1, 2023

SEPA Appeal Period: February 1, 2023 – February 15, 2023

Appeals must be submitted no later than February 15, 2023.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

PEDESTRIAN SAFETY improvement PROJECT

Ferry Avenue Sidewalk Improvements

Contract No. TA-7243

Federal Aid No. TAP 0280(003)

Sealed bids will be received by the Town of Coulee Dam, Washington, at Town Hall located at 300 Lincoln Ave., Coulee Dam, WA 99116 until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2023, and will then and there be opened and publicly read aloud.

The project is located within the Town of Coulee Dam between Grant Avenue and the Fiddle Creek Pathway. The project is funded by the Federal Highway Administration.

The improvements for which bids will be received are generally described below:

• Removal and replacement of approximately 1,200 LF of concrete sidewalk, with associated tree root removal, driveway repairs, and curb repairs.

• Removal and replacement of four ADA curb ramps at the Ferry Avenue/Douglas Avenue intersection with associated sidewalk, curbing, and asphalt repairs.

To bid the project, Bidder shall register and be on the Plan Holders List. After registering, Bidder shall download and print a full set of BIDDING DOCUMENTS from https://hosted.onlineplanservice.com/Project/191. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Additional bid acceptance and contract provisions are specified in the Contract Documents.

All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier’s check, or surety bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Town of Coulee Dam.
