2/27 - Police went to the senior center where items had been left outside. Some of the items were suitable for donation to the senior center’s thrift store, such as clothes and books, while other items were better suited for trash, such as broken electronics and a dirty animal cage. An address found on a pool floatie gave police someone to talk to on Bowen Avenue. There, police spoke to a woman who said that her husband and she hadn’t donated items, but were in the process of cleaning out their home. Police observed items packed up outside their home. The woman also explained they had left several items behind at an old flooded property at Lakeview Terrace and believed the floatie could have been from there. The senior center disposed of the items best suited for trash.
- A Grand Coulee officer, as well as officers from Coulee Dam and tribal police, responded to the vacant Coulee House motel which had been burglarized. Tribal police had arrested a suspect who had a fake police badge in his possession. The Grand Coulee and Coulee Dam officers left the scene.
2/28 - Police responded to an accident near the top of the dam where they saw a Hyundai Accent in the ditch in the westbound lane of SR-155. A school bus driver told police she saw the vehicle slide off the icy road over the curb into the ditch. The driver was fine, but said he hit his head. Medical staff arrived to examine him as a precaution. The bus driver’s son helped get the car out of the ditch, and it could be driven away. Coulee Dam and Washington State Patrol officer’s helped with traffic control during the situation.
- Police went to North Dam Park softball fields where a lock had been cut to access the “sump pumps.” The lock appeared to have been smashed by a rock. A U.S. Bureau of Reclamation worker said they went inside through the manhole cover and found nothing amiss, and would find a replacement lock.
- A Jeep Wrangler in the ditch near North Dam appeared to have a broken axle and was marked for tow removal after 24 hours.
3/1 - An officer pulled a Honda Civic over on Coulee Boulevard after noticing its exhaust noise was louder than it should be based on the officer’s previous experience as a Honda service technician. The driver was cited for not having the required muffler and for not having proper insurance.
- Police went to a residence along the Bridgeport Highway where a man said a woman refused to leave his property. Police found them both in the driveway. The woman said she previously had left a purse, phone and backpack in the man’s car. The man said he had let a friend borrow the car, that the items were no longer in his car, and that her having left the items in his car wasn’t his problem. Police said they could help her if the phone was pinged to a nearby location. She and the two men she was with left in their car after being banned from the owner’s property.
- An officer assisted Coulee Dam police with a situation at a Kelso Avenue residence in Electric City. Coulee Dam police determined the man at the residence had committed an assault and arrested him. Grand Coulee Police left after the man was placed in a Coulee Dam patrol car.
3/2 - Police responded to a report of a Ford Fusion striking another vehicle near the Coulee Dam gas station, then heading to the hospital where the driver was seen getting out and going inside the hospital. The case was handed over to Coulee Dam Police, as the original hit and run had occurred there.

2/27 - A woman on River Drive reported someone had threatened to cause damage to her vehicle, and also reported stolen property out of Grand Coulee. No further details were included in the police report.
- An officer assisted Grand Coulee Police with an incident at a residence near the Bridgeport Highway. A man said his girlfriend became upset about him messaging another woman and began hitting him, even though he said he didn’t have his phone or tablet with him to even be able to message anyone. He had scratches on his neck and head. The woman admitted to another officer to assaulting the man. The Coulee Dam officer left after no longer being needed in the case.
2/28 - Police provided traffic patrol until a vehicle was removed from the roadway on SR-155 below the dam where an accident had occurred.
3/1 - Police went to Cedar Street, at the request of a concerned individual, to check on someone with a disability who wasn’t answering her door like she usually does. While checking, the woman arrived with her caregiver, returning from an appointment.
- A man on Kelso Avenue was charged with assault after he threw an aerosol can at a woman during an argument and it hit her, puncturing her skin. He said to police that she may have thrown something at him first, possibly a hammer, but he didn’t want her to go to jail and was willing to take the charge himself. He was taken to jail for the charge.
3/2 - A woman allegedly committed a hit and run on Okanogan Avenue, then drove off to Burdin Boulevard and Grand Coulee followed by a witness. She said that being followed made her more nervous. She was cited for the hit and run and for driving without insurance.
