Raiders honored with all-league status

Several Lake Roosevelt Jr/Sr High School student athletes were named to the “all-leauge” teams in Central Washington 2B League for the 2022-2023 season.

In girls’ basketball, Lady Raider Cylia St. Pierre, a junior, was a first-team pick.

Carly Neddo, also a junior, and Aaliyah Marchand, a senior, were picked for the second team.

In the boys’ all-league basketball honors, Raider Coach Jeremy Crollard shared the “coach of the year” honor with Liberty Bell’s Ryan Surface.

Named to the league first team from LR were junior Chase Marchand and senior Chase Clark.

Brandon Pino, a junior, was named to the second team.

Sophomore Ivan Alejandre earned an honorable mention.

Among the league’s wrestlers, Zach Elwell and Teyten Flores both made first team, according to a Facebook post by Coach Casey Brewster. They wrestled at the 106-pound and 145-pound categories respectively.

Making the league second team from LR were Rodger Cate (106), Dylan Yazzie (113), Dakota Green (138), Landon Krohn (152), and Junior Garcia (182).

Gaining an honorable mention were Julian Lopez (132), Christian Carson (145), and John Desautel (170).
