3/28 - Four “safety chains” were stolen from the dumping area of the Delano transfer station. It cost the station $318.07 to replace the chains. The manager showed police a cut section of fence believed to have been used to access the station, and estimated the cost to repair the fence to be about $200.
- Police saw a man using a dipstick to try and gain entry to a vehicle parked on Alcan Road. The man told police he had permission from the owners to try and gain entry to the vehicle. Police spoke to the owners of the vehicle over the phone who confirmed that he had permission to try to enter the vehicle which had the keys locked inside, but that one of them was supposed to be present while he did so. The owners didn’t want to press charges and police left.
- A hospital employee asked police to escort a woman who was “hanging out” outside the emergency room but stayed in the area even after being asked to leave. The woman wasn’t creating a disturbance. The woman was polite with police, and given a courtesy ride out of the area.

3/27 - Police were asked to check on a woman at a River Drive apartment. She wasn’t there, but a manager was able to call her, and she said she was fine.
3/29 - A Lakeview Avenue man wanted his girlfriend to leave his home. She had left already by the time police arrived.
3/30 - A Coulee Dam resident heard a loud boom and saw a car driving slowly across the bridge. Police went to the area where a man admitted to having been driving a car that had heavy front end damage and was leaking oil and possibly other fluids. The man said he had hit a curb near the bridge. Police smelled alcohol and marijuana. The man was charged with driving under the influence after failing a field sobriety test and showing a blood alcohol content around 0.11, above the 0.08 limit. He was given a ride to a friend’s house.
- Police spoke with a couple on Hillcrest Avenue in Electric City who said they had simply been arguing about sex. No violence had occurred, police determined.
3/31 - Police were asked to check on someone who wasn’t answering the door on a trailer on Electric Boulevard. Police used a pry bar to enter the trailer and found the person to be deceased. The coroner was called.
- An officer assisted tribal police with a traffic stop in which a woman turned out to be intoxicated. Coulee Dam Police handled the case. The woman had a breath sample showing an alcohol content of 0.22, above the 0.08 limit. The police report said there was “more to follow.”
4/2 - Police responded to Park Avenue in Electric City where a man had fallen. Police spoke with the man until an ambulance arrived.
