Richard Dennis Henry (59) of Electric City, Washington, born Friday May 3rd, 1963 in Renton, Washington to Richard D. & Sharon J. Henry, passed away Tuesday February 28th, 2023 in Grand Coulee, Washington.
Richard attended High School in Kent, Washington, where he was a member of the football team. Following his graduation in 1981, Richard was proud to serve his country with the United States Army for three years. After receiving his Honorable Discharge from the US Military, Richard went on to work in the construction field as a laborer and then General Contractor. Recent years found him working as a delivery driver and general handy man, often helping his Electric City neighbors at no charge in his own quiet way.
A man of simple uncomplicated needs - Richard enjoyed gardening, being near the water, fishing, hunting and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, whom Richard adored.
Preceded in death by his father; Richard's legacy lives on through his mother: Sharon J. Kimberly; beloved children: Ashley Henry (David Lytle), Tyler Henry (Amandine), Justin Corey (Emily) and Grady Henry; grandchildren: Lylah Allison, Peyton Lytle, Declan Lytle, Mathis Henry, Emma Henry, Mia Henry, Leighton Corey and Macie Corey; siblings: Angela Napoli (Mark), Ken Sovie (Kim) and Renee Henry; as well as nephews and nieces.
