3/31 - Police went to Wenatchee Avenue to investigate a possible burglary. It turned out, a man thought he was going to his friend’s house, but went to the wrong house. His friend’s house was across the street.
4/1 - At the request of Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, an officer waited with a patient at the hospital following a collision until a deputy from LCSO arrived.
4/2 - Police received a report of a man and woman arguing and the woman running towards the road in the Four Corners area of SR-174 and Midway Avenue. No one was there when police arrived.
- A Roosevelt Drive resident was cited for a public nuisance for having garbage and miscellaneous other items outside on what appears to be a driveway but is actually part of the city street, the police report states.
4/4 - An officer assisted Coulee Dam Police with a case on Aspen Street and River Drive in Coulee Dam where a man wanted on a warrant was pulled over and arrested. There was an offroad vehicle in the back of the man’s truck that had been reported as stolen in June of 2022 out of Spokane. It was removed from the back of the man’s truck. The truck and offroad vehicle were towed separately. The man was taken to Okanogan County Jail by Coulee Dam Police.
- Police went to a residence where yelling was reported. Upon contact, a woman laughed and said she had been yelling at the dog for urinating in the house.
- An officer knew the owner of dogs that had been running loose and were now tied to a tree near Federal Avenue. The owner agreed to come pick up the dogs.
4/5 - An officer assisted with a trespassing situation at the Coulee House Motel in Coulee Dam. A tribal public works employee said they were getting the building ready for demolition and found someone in the basement of the former R&A Cafe building. The man took off on foot. Coulee Dam Police also assisted in making sure no one else was on the premises. A garage was also unlocked and another room appeared to have been accessed.
- Someone reported that teenagers playing basketball in the street weren’t getting out of the way for cars and had hit cars with their basketball. Police spoke to a group of teenagers who said they were being mindful of cars. Police told them to keep playing and to be safe and concluded they were just playing a “classic game of street basketball in a safe manner,” as described in the police report.
4/6 - “Big people” were reported playing loud music on E Street. Police contacted a man at a shed playing loud music. He said he would turn the music down.
- Police collected for safe keeping a phone found near the top of the Grand Coulee Dam.
- A Grand Coulee Avenue resident said a man, whom she identified, had backed his black Dodge pickup into the handrail outside her residence. Police saw the damage to the handrail. The driver was said to be intoxicated and faces a hit and run charge.
4/7 - Police spoke to residents who live along the Bridgeport Highway area who reported an ex-boyfriend violating a no-contact order by sending text messages to a woman and her new boyfriend, asking him to talk to her, for him. Police are waiting for screenshots of the images before moving forward.
- Police pulled a vehicle over near Spokane Way for having an expired registration. The car also didn’t have a rear windshield and the driver’s side mirror was attached with duct tape. The driver’s side window didn’t work so the driver had to open his door to talk to police. He was ultimately cited for driving without proof of insurance and the expired tabs.
4/8 - A woman on Wenatchee Avenue reported a tube of caulk being thrown at her by her boyfriend because he was mad she took a long time at the grocery store and questioned her whereabouts. First, he threw a jar of jellybeans, she said, which she dodged but was then struck in the face by the tube of caulk. The boyfriend faces a domestic violence charge for the incident. Police didn’t locate him that day.
- A man reported a dump trailer, worth around $6,000-$7,000, stolen from NuCoulee Boulevard.
- Grand Coulee and Coulee Dam police, along with emergency medical services and Bureau of Reclamation fire department personnel, responded to a report of a vehicle accident in the area of SR-174 and Short Road. The reporting party said the accident was “pretty bad.” There was no sign of an accident there.
4/9 - A man was reported as going through a Midway Avenue coffee drive-through with a firearm on his lap. Police researched the man and learned he was a convicted felon, and wanted on a felony warrant out of Okanogan County. Police found the vehicle parked on Grand Avenue in Electric City, requested an additional officer, and saw the man get into the vehicle. Police followed it to Kelso Avenue. There, police spoke to the man who denied having a firearm. A resident came outside, said the car was hers, and denied any knowledge of a firearm. A lighter device, or “torch,” had a resemblance to the barrel of a gun, the police report notes. There was insufficient evidence of the man being someone wanted on a warrant, or possessing an illegal firearm.
- Someone gave police a briefcase and other items they had found near Banks Lake. Police identified who the items belonged to and approached him in the Four Corners area. He was apprehensive at first, and felt police were harassing him. Police explained the situation and brought the man his items and a bottle of water. The man was grateful. He said his girlfriend had thrown his stuff out of a vehicle earlier in the day. He said he was going to hitchhike to Tulalip.
- A man was arrested and taken to jail for assault and for interfering with the reporting of a crime after an incident in which he allegedly shoved an ex and threw her cell phone when she said she was calling police.
- An officer assisted Coulee Dam Police with an incident at the Osborn Bay Campground where a man had reportedly threatened juveniles. The man has a history of confrontation with tourists and other patrons of the campground. He denied threatening the juveniles and said he had confronted them for doing “brodees” in the campground before they left. Police determined that he had indeed committed a crime. Coulee Dam Police handled the case further.
4/10 - Police blocked a lane of travel on SR-155 near the top of the Grand Coulee Dam to allow for a crane and two semi-trucks to travel through.
- Security footage showed a man and a woman attempting to attach a trailer to their truck on Federal Avenue but being unable to do so. They didn’t have permission to take the trailer. The trailer was moved to prevent future attempts. The footage didn’t capture the license plate.
- A lock was cut on a trailer on Second Street but the trailer was not taken.

4/3 - A man reported his grandfather’s home had been broken into on Stevens Avenue in Electric City. Some collector dolls are missing.
4/4 - Police pulled a truck over on Aspen Street and River Drive for having an unsecured load and a broken taillight. The passenger was wanted on a felony warrant for burglary and was arrested and taken to jail for that. An ATV was in the back of the truck, which police learned was stolen out of Spokane, so the man was also charged with possessing a stolen vehicle. The registered owner of the ATV was contacted and told the vehicle had been found.
- Eight construction barriers were stolen from a 6th Street work zone. Casino security cameras didn’t capture the theft.
- A man reported that lumber and other hardware materials valued at over $1,000 had been stolen from a Western Avenue location in Electric City.
- A woman was pulled over on Central Drive in Coulee Dam for having expired tabs. Police found the driver was wanted on a warrant for a probation violation. She was arrested and taken to Grant County Jail.
4/5 - A couple on Cedar Street agreed to separate for the night following an argument. The man said the woman poked him in the head at one point, which the woman denied.
4/6 - A man on Kelso Avenue was having trouble sleeping while his significant other was having a manic episode. She calmed down and police were not needed.
- A woman was reportedly smoking meth near Sixth and Fir streets in a porta potty. Police spoke to her. She denied smoking anything. She was wanted on arrest warrants but the jail told police they wouldn’t book her for them. Another vehicle arrived with a woman passenger police said was obviously experiencing an overdose. She said that she’d inhaled fumes when walking past the porta potty earlier. Police called an ambulance. Police asked the woman suspected of smoking if there was fentanyl in the meth she was smoking; she said she wasn’t sure. She provided police with a smoking device and a container of what appeared to be meth. She was warned about drugs. The woman experiencing the overdose was taken to the hospital.
4/7 - A woman’s car was reported as being in a hit-and-run collision in March in the Lake Roosevelt Schools parking lot, known to police to have frequent, unreported hit-and-run collisions.
4/8 - A dog was reported as running at large on Sunset Boulevard. The dog wasn’t around when the officer signed into service.
