CALL FOR BIDS FOR

COMMERCIAL GRADE WOOD CHIPPER

The City of Electric City is accepting bids, on behalf of the Regional Board of Mayors (RBOM), for a Commercial Grade Wood Chipper. Instructions and specifications for the Wood Chipper, as well as the official bid form, can be obtained at Electric City City Hall, or online at

Sealed bids must be received at City Hall (10 Stevens Ave, PO Box 130, Electric City, WA 99123 ATTN: Peggy Nevsimal) by NOON on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. Sealed Bids, plainly marked “Sealed Bid,” will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter, then and there. Only bids that arrive in the Clerk’s Office by this deadline will be considered. Mayor Diane Kohout is the contract person for questions regarding the specifications for this invitation to bid. Purpose: To review the proposed Variance request for a residential setback as outlines in GCMC 17.16.030. The proposal is for a placement of a new home in the same footprint of an existing home. The proposed setback reduction is on the east property line fronting the existing alley. The proposed setback is 4’.
