Pole fire leads to outage

A power pole fire Monday night led to an outage as Grant PUD worked on fixing the problem. The Grand Coulee Volunteer Fire Department had the fire out about 11:30 p.m. but reported that several residences and street lights had no power while the utility replaced the pole and restored service.
