APPLICATION AND PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Coulee Dam received an application for the Shoreline Master Program Comprehensive and Periodic update and will hold a public hearing during its regular meeting at 6:00pm on July 12, 2023 at 300 Lincoln Ave for discussion of Coulee Dam’s Shoreline Master Program (SMP) Update. A Virtual option is available as well, information below:

As required by the Washington State Shoreline Management Act (RCW 90.58.100 each SMP must be reviewed and revised, if needed, on an eight-year schedule established by the Legislature. The review ensures the SMP stays current with changes in laws and rules, remains consistent with other Coulee Dam plans and regulations, and is responsive to changed circumstances, new information, and improved data. The Hearings Examiner has concluded its work on the review and now forwards this matter to the Town Council. Required changes to the 2018 SMP are proposed.

Interested persons are encouraged to attend the Hearing.
