2022 Reservoir Slope

Stabilization Project

Sealed bids will be received until 10:00 AM, Thursday August 24, 2023 at the Nespelem Town Hall, located, at 330 9th St, P.O. Box 240, Nespelem, WA 99155. No proposals will be accepted after the above-stated time. Immediately following the above stated time, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by cash, a certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond, payable to the Town of Nespelem, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond, each in the full amount of the contract price.

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid conference will be held at the Nespelem Town Hall Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

The project generally consists of the following work:

Removal of an ecology block debris barrier wall, and slide debris; installation of High Performance Turf Reinforcement Mat (HPTRM) upon slope; installation of rock-lined drainage channel with subsurface drain around perimeter of slope repair area; reinstallation of an ecology block debris barrier wall; and construction of new storm water piping system to stabilize the slope and convey surface and subsurface drainage to the easterly of the Towns existing water reservoirs to stabilize the slope.

Forty-five (45) Working Days will be allowed to complete the project, and all work shall be completed by November 15, 2023.

Bidders may obtain project documents at the Century West Engineering online plan room at http://www.centurywestplanroom.com. Bidders may download digital documents at no cost and obtain printed documents, at Bidders Expense, by choosing the “Order” option. Posted on this plan room, under the “Documents” section, is an Official list of locations where documents may be examined. Any questions regarding this plan room, shall be directed to plan room administration at 509-747-2964 or planroom@abadanplancenter.com. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

This project is funded through the Washington State Public Works Board Emergency Grant Program. Award of the construction contract is contingent upon approval by the funding agency. All work performed will be subject to State wage rates. Neither the State of Washington nor any of its departments or employees are, or shall be, a party to any contract or any subcontract resulting from this solicitation for bids.

The Town of Nespelem shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding documents or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular.

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

COMPREHENSIVE PARKS

& RECREATION PLAN

The Town of Elmer City, Washington is seeking to enter into a services contract with a qualified planning consultant, and/or multi-disciplinary firms or teams to conduct and assist in the update of the Elmer City Comprehensive Recreation Plan (2018). The update must provide guidance to the Town on appropriate implementation for development or redevelopment plans for the parks, while also meeting the service demands that come with additional amenities.

The plan update will guide decisions affecting the physical development or redevelopment of the park spaces in Elmer City. The process for the update must ensure that the final document reflects the desired vision for the parks and recreational areas in Elmer City as determined by the citizens, appointed, and elected officials, and other stakeholders through community participation.

Responding planning and management consultant firms will be considered by the Town Council and a selection will be made at the discretion of the Town Council. The Town Council reserves the right to select the consultant or consulting firm whose proposal is most advantageous to the jurisdiction. At the discretion of the governing body, the selected firm may be retained to provide services for a period of up to three years. Responding firms will be notified if an oral presentation is necessary.

Town of Elmer City / Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given, the Town of Elmer City will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, August 17th at 6 pm to review final project performance on the Force Main Assessment, CDBG Contract 21-62210-018 funded by the Community Development Block Grant.
