Grateful for help with back-to-school event

It is with great gratitude, humbleness and excitement that I submit this letter of thanks to the vendors who donated and made our first Grand Coulee Dam School District Superintendent’s Back to School Kick Off a huge success. We could not have done it without them.

On the behalf of the GCDSD Board of Directors and our administrative team, we would like to thank the Tee Pee for donating all of the food, which included 250 hamburgers, hotdogs and buns. We would also like to thank Harvest Foods for donating all of the water and soda for the event. Additionally, we would like to thank the Colville Tribe for paying for the bounce houses and shaved ice and Mr. Dallas for bringing and setting up the bounce houses and shaved ice.

We would like to thank Mr. George LaPlace, Board Member and his wife for cooking the burgers, community member Dannee Pierre for cooking the hot dogs, and former employee Cindy Parra for helping as well. We would like to thank our District Office staff for serving the food and making sure that everything was in place and ready. We would also like to thank our local newspaper reporter, Scott Hunter for attending and showing some love to GCDSD.

Finally, we would like to thank everyone who attended the Back to School Kickoff. We look forward to doing it again next year. You are the BEST!!!!!

Let’s continue to partner and make GCDSD one of the BEST school systems in the nation. We are all better together!!!!

Yours in Education,

Rodriguez F.
