9/18 - A woman had yelled because the radio was tuned to another station before she left a Divi-sion Street residence. Someone had reported the yelling. Police spoke to a man who explained the situation and that no violence had occurred.
9/20 - A man in a wheelchair was reported as having assaulted two hospital employees. He was charged with the assaults and with interfering with a health care facility. The intoxicated man was taken to Grant County Jail. Because of his being in a wheelchair, he was taken in an ambulance. He was combative towards police during the process. It took time for him to be medically cleared for him to go to the jail, first cleared by the local hospital, then by Columbia Basin Hospital in Ephrata.
- A camper had driven through an open gate into a restricted area by the Grand Coulee Dam. The driver was friendly and explained he had a mechanical issue. He was allowed to re-main in the area for a short time, and once the mechanical issue had been resolved, left the ar-ea.
9/22 - A driver, pulled over near Alcan Road for driving a car without a rear license plate, was cited for driving without insurance or proper registration and for not having her license with her. She asked why another officer on another stop had let the same infractions go at another time and was told that should not have been the case as the car is not street legal.
- A citizen helped police capture a loose dog in the Continental Heights area. The dog wasn’t mi-cro-chipped, and the owner wasn’t located. Police met with workers from No Paws Left Behind in Omak and a post was made on Facebook to attempt to find the owner. After 10 days, the dog will be adopted out if not claimed by the owner.
9/22 - A Batchelor Square man said that a woman had come over and asked for $5. He told her he didn’t have any cash. She opened his wallet, which was on a table, and confirmed he didn’t have cash. He later looked and saw his debit card was missing. He had the bank cancel the card, but two charges had already been made at local gas stations, totaling roughly $60. Police are working to collect surveillance footage of the charges being made and to locate the woman.
9/23 - A man was told he needed to move his flatbed truck that was blocking the entire roadway on Weil Place. The man was upset about being told to move the vehicle promptly or it would be towed, explaining that it needed a part or would be damaged if he moved it at that time. The of-ficer said it would be towed if he did not move it. The man eventually got the part he needed, and moved the truck out of the roadway.

9/18 - An officer saw a blue Ford pickup cut off a Chevy pickup at Crest Drive and River Drive. The Ford was pulled over and the driver said he didn’t realize he had cut off another vehicle. The driver was unlicensed and his grandmother came and took control of the vehicle. He was cited for driving without a license.
- A vehicle was pulled over on Midway Avenue in Grand Coulee after an officer saw it use the turn lane to pass another vehicle. The driver was unlicensed and uninsured and was cited for those offenses. She called her mother to take control of the car.
9/19 - A driver was pulled over for speeding near Crest Drive and River Drive. The driver was cited for driving with a suspended license and a licensed driver came to take control of the vehi-cle.
- A Coulee Dam officer left the area of the Grand Coulee Dam after a tribal animal control officer took control of a dog that was loose in the area.
9/21 - An officer called for a “lift assist” to help a man in a wheelchair get into his vehicle on Mead Avenue. An ambulance crew arrived to perform the lift.
9/23 - An officer assisted in an eviction notice being served at a River Drive address.
- Police received a report of yelling coming from Columbia Drive, possibly from a party getting out of hand. Police went to the area but didn’t find a disturbance.
