Masquers Theater announces cast for Elf The Musical

Dedicated and talented volunteers at Masquers Theater in Soap Lake have been hard at work on their big holiday production: "Elf The Musical."  Adapted from the film of the same name, which starred Will Ferrell, Elf will run at Masquers Theater from November 25 through December 16. For this show's run, Saturday shows will be matinees instead of evening shows. Tickets are on sale now at www.masquers.com.

The musical follows young orphan Buddy who is raised as one of Santa's elves in the North Pole before heading to New York in search of his birth family. The cast is led by stage veteran, but newcomer to Masquers Theater, Clark Dalton as Buddy the Elf. Joining Dalton are Jeremy Hansen as Santa, Jason Noble as Walter, Lydia Harris as Jovie, Ashley Wood as Emily, Skyler Dalton as Michael, and Jamie Cordell as Deb.  Rounding out the cast in a variety of roles are Jeff Ames, Destiny Bunney, Lilly Conway, Mary Conway, Haley Dalton, Sherry Joski, Kylie Lavell, Randy Martin, Rainy Piccolo, Darryl Pheasant, Whitley Rushton, Justin Thompson, and Zhane Serrano

The show is directed by Stacey and Clifford Bresee (The Little Mermaid, A Christmas Story, Once On This Island), with choreography by Rachel Bresee, Clark Dalton, and Ashley Wood, costumes by Heather Van Paepeghem, stage management by Rebekah Bresee, and lighting design by Don Long.

Elf features songs by Tony Award nominees Matthew Sklar (The Wedding Singer) and Chad Beguelin (Disney's Aladdin on Broadway), with a book by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan(Annie, The Producers, Hairspray) and Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone).
