Help local police give area children a very Merry Christmas

Grand Coulee Police Department is joining with others in A Shop with a Cop program. This is a charitable program that helps connect police officers with children in a local community. The programs help families in need and allow children to see a positive side to law enforcement. It helps police officers establish friendly relations with children and families from underprivileged homes.

The program is about helping families while also building strong community ties by coming together for a common purpose and developing a bond between the police officers and the families involved in the event.
