Softball

The Lady Raider fastpitch team racked up five more wins in the last week, the last one 11-1 against Brewster in a league game on the Bears’ home diamond April 23.

They also beat Tonasket a week ago, 17-2, then twice more in a Friday doubleheader there, 14-4, 8-4.

Manson fell to Lake Roosevelt 20-3 April 18.

They’ll finish the regular season with five home games: They’ll play Okanogan at home tonight (Wednesday) in a doubleheader at 3 p.m., then Brewster in Friday’s doubleheader, also starting at 3.

Lake Roosevelt (14-2) will welcome the 1-A Quincy Jackrabbits (6-6) to squeeze in an extra game the regular and post season Monday, May 6 at 4 p.m.

The 2024 District 6 2B Fastpitch Softball Tournament runs May 4-7 at places and times yet to be determined.

Baseball

The Raiders beat Tonasket 14-1 April 16 at home, but lost to Manson there two days later, 17-2, the both games of a doubleheader at Tonasket April 19, 17-0, 14-4.

Last night, the Bears took them down in Brewster, 24-5.

LR will play Okanogan there tonight (Wednesday), then meet the Bears back in Brewster for a doubleheader on Friday, starting at 3.

The Raider record for the season is 2-16 overall.
