5/13 - A driver stopped on River Drive for speeding was cited for driving with a suspended license. The driver said she didn’t realize it was suspended, had recently moved, and hadn’t received anything in the mail.
- A driver was clocked going 48 miles per hour in a 30-mph zone in Coulee Dam along SR-155. The driver said she thought the speed limit was 35 there. She was given a speeding ticket.
5/15 - Police responded to a report of a suspicious person who had been sitting in his car along Coulee Boulevard in Electric City for about two hours. He said he was visiting a friend in a nearby apartment. He refused to give his name and said he wasn’t doing anything wrong. He went into the apartment. The caller was then told that the man was just visiting a friend.
- An officer checked on the welfare of a Pine Street man and found him to be doing great.
5/16 - Police kept an eye out for a white Toyota Tacoma heading from about milepost 30 on SR-155 into Coulee Dam and was possibly being driven under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Police didn’t see any vehicles matching the description.
5/18 - A caller told police her mother’s boyfriend had left a residence with his children. Police saw the man, who was simply taking his children to his brother’s house following an argument with his girlfriend. The caller was upset that police didn’t do anything.
- A woman is being banned from a Spruce Street residence and also facing two assault charges after an incident in which she had allegedly pushed a woman in the face and pushed and scratched the landowner who had told her she had to leave. Others present had witnessed the incidents.
