Leslie (Les) Nee

Leslie (Les) Nee passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at his home. He was born January 3, 1968, in Spokane, Washington, to Thomas and Joyce Nee. He grew up in the Keller area and attended school graduating from Wilbur High School in 1986. He then joined the U.S. Army. After being discharged from the Army he moved back to the Keller area in 2008 where he went to work at Grand Coulee Dam as a hydro-mechanic.

Les was a US Army Veteran and member of the Keller Confederated Tribe of Indians Honor Guard.

Les is survived by his daughter Joahlee (Rayven) Membrere and son Gary Nee (Brenda Nee, children's mother) along with two grandsons Cash and Coda Bear; his siblings David (Victoria) Nee, Linda (Chris) Jurgensen, Penny (John) Flowers, Ruby (Alan) Burris, Tom (Tena) Nee, Mike (Mary Jo) Nee, Jody Nee and Jamie (Lynn) Nee and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Rosary services for Les will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 7:00 PM at the Keller Community Center. Celebration of Life Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Keller Community Center with Father Jake Morton officiating. Memorials may be made to Veteran's suicide Prevention or Disabled Veterans Association. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at http://www.strate-funeral.com for the Nee family.
