5/19 - A car was reported as speeding in the area of Stevens Avenue in Coulee Dam before heading towards Grand Coulee. Police weren’t in a position to try and intercept the vehicle.

- Tribal Police requested a Coulee Dam officer stand by at an Elmer City residence while they arrested a female on a domestic violence charge.

5/21 - An Electric City boy was taken to the juvenile detention center in Chelan County following an altercation with his mother that included him having her in a chokehold.

-  A suspicious person appeared to be “casing” the area while walking on Cedar Street in Coulee Dam. Police searched the area and didn’t see such a person.

- A man staying in his camper in a parking lot near 6th Street in Coulee Dam made a nearby tenant uncomfortable. Police spoke to the tenant’s landlord and explained a law that states when a person is living in their vehicle, it can’t be towed. The man wasn’t breaking any laws or causing any other kind of disturbance.

5/22 - A trailer was listed as stolen. An Electric City man had let another man borrow it up to a point, but then when prompted to bring it back, the other man said he didn’t have to. The trailer was likely in Nespelem, the man said at the time of the report.

- Police were told of a vehicle on the golf course but then learned it was just the groundskeeper.

5/23 - Two vehicles were towed from Electric City in the areas of Grand Avenue and Kent Street. The vehicles appeared to have been dumped in those locations by the same owner and were blocking travel.

- A suspicious person wearing a black hoodie and red bandana was reportedly running through an alleyway near Coulee Boulevard. Police searched the area but didn’t find such a person.

- A man known to be wanted on arrest warrants for assault was seen in a vehicle leaving the hardware store. Police stopped the vehicle and arrested him on the warrants and took him to Spokane County Jail. However, a bullet was seen coming out of a wound on the man’s back from an incident over a year ago. The man was then taken to a hospital in Spokane, the bullet was removed, and he was then medically cleared to go to the jail.

5/24 - A man was banned from his parents’ house in Electric City after an incident in which he was found asleep on their couch, asked to leave, then allegedly yelled, leaving only after police were called. He was found near the fire station where he was cuffed and detained while the investigation took place. He was then transferred to another officer’s custody for a possible theft charge.

- An officer stood by while a woman collected some of her belongings from an ex-boyfriend’s residence in Coulee Dam.

5/25 - Suspicious activity was reported near 6th Street in Coulee Dam where people were seen rummaging through the trunk of an older Ford Taurus. Police searched the area and didn’t see such a vehicle.

- Police didn’t hear any barking dogs in the Camas Street area after checking it out for a while following a noise complaint.

5/26 - Police responded to a report of a large brown dog at large in the Central Drive area. Kids in the area told the officer that the owners had taken the dog home.
