Big reunion draws about 200

The Coulee Dam All Class Reunion was held in the Lake Roosevelt High School gym on June 21-22. Approximately 200 former classmates, some with their spouses and children, attended the event. The reunion included members and graduates from Mason City High School (1935-1947), Nespelem High School (1935-1956), Coulee Dam High School (1947-1971), and Lake Roosevelt High School graduates from the 1970s. The earliest graduates attending included James Bickford from the Mason City High School class of 1945, Jerry McClure from the Nespelem High School class of 1949, and Lynne Petretee and Connie Babler from the Coulee Dam High School graduating classes of 1951 and 1952, respectively. Mason City, Nespelem, and Coulee Dam High Schools all ultimately consolidated into Lake Roosevelt High School. The Coulee Dam All Class Reunion is held every four years, with the next scheduled for 2028. Much fun was had by all. - Bert Smith photo
