7/8 - Items stolen from a Grand Coulee Avenue storage unit included a Hoyt bow, axes, older video game systems, DVDs, and hunting gear. 

7/10 - A Dill Avenue man was arrested and taken to jail for assault following an incident in which he allegedly pushed his wife during an argument, and she fell and broke her wrist.

- A man driving a motorcycle hit a pothole on Spokane Way, causing him to lose control of the motorcycle. He suffered some road rash on his arm from the accident. Police collected many details and noted the pothole was only marked by some white paint. An officer placed an orange cone there so the pothole would stick out more. The man estimated the damage to his motorcycle to be around $6,000. Family and friends were able to help him load it onto a trailer and to get it out of the roadway. He went to the hospital afterwards to have his injuries looked at. Police were allowed to take pictures of the injuries.

7/12 - A Roosevelt Drive resident told police she let a man borrow her paint sprayer for a job then later saw it on Facebook Marketplace. She said she could identify it because of purple paint on it. She said she would try to contact someone about getting it back.

- Water was leaking through the ceiling into a Continental Heights apartment. The property manager was contacted and responded to the location. Police then ended their involvement in the situation.

7/13 - Police helped in a Child Protective Services situation in which two children were taken from their mother because she wasn’t letting the assigned monitor for monitored visits be in her residence as required.

- Police checked on the wellbeing of a Wenatchee Avenue man and found him to be alive and well. He had just got off of the phone with his daughter who had been the concerned party.

- Police checked on an elderly man lying in the grass of a city park. The man was fine and calm and didn’t need assistance, explaining that he lived nearby. Police explained the park was closed at night.

7/14 - An unoccupied Dill Avenue home was boarded up and kicked in, then a padlocked bedroom door was kicked in. Over $100 in makeup was stolen and other personal items. A neighbor saw a person on a bike in the area and heard banging but didn’t know who to talk to at the time. A few days later, the owner told police that others living on the property, including in a shed, had all left. Shoes that had been stolen were found in the shed, which was in something of a state of disarray. Police told her to secure the shed to help prevent further burglaries. She also reported that a box of 1980s-era baseball cards had also been stolen.

7/15 - An officer assisted Grant County Sheriff’s Office by going to a residence outside of Electric City along SR-155 where an alarm had been activated. The homeowners, who were out of town, didn’t see anything suspicious on their security cameras. The officer checked the windows and doors at the residence and found everything to be secure and relayed that information to the alarm company. Later, the homeowner contacted police and said he returned home to find that his Goldwing motorcycle had been rolled out of its trailer, tools were scattered about, and the keys to the motorcycle were apparently stolen.

- A storage unit in Grand Coulee was broken into. Police have suspects in the theft. The report didn’t note what was taken.

7/16 - A man reported items in his vehicle had been gone through while parked on Noble Road. Nothing appeared missing.

- A man and woman were reportedly yelling while driving in an SUV out of the Delano area towards town. Police were unable to find anything further related to the report.

7/17 - An officer checked on a car parked in the road near the rodeo grounds. The people in the car explained that they ran out of gas and were selling scrap metal. The officer helped push the car off of the roadway.

- A couple was in the library whose children wouldn’t stop yelling and ringing the doorbell, according to the librarian. They had left prior to police arrival.

- A motorcycle was impounded after police spoke to the driver at Coulee Gas. The motorcycle had no license plate, and the driver was unlicensed. There was no paperwork for the motorcycle either. The driver said he just bought it for $500. Police noted one VIN number had been scratched off but got a partial VIN number from the engine.

7/19 - A woman was arrested near the rodeo grounds with charges listed as driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, and failure to transfer a title within 45 days. There wasn’t a narrative in the report detailing the circumstances of the case.

7/19 - A man was arrested on Burdin Boulevard. The offense is listed as “harassment - prior conviction or threat to kill,” a felony. Further details weren’t included about the report.

7/20 - An officer removed a dead deer from SR-155 somewhere near the Grand Coulee Dam.
