Masquers Theater announces auditions for the musical "Annie"

Masquers Theater is excited to announce auditions for the timeless and heartwarming musical "Annie." We invite aspiring actors and actresses, ages 8 through adult, to audition for all roles available. Auditions will be held on July 28 and 29 at 6:00 pm at Masquers Theater.

"Annie," set during the Great Depression, tells the story of a spirited young orphan girl determined to find her parents, who left her on the doorstep of a New York City orphanage. Under the care of the harsh Miss Hannigan, Annie's journey takes an unexpected turn when she is chosen to spend Christmas at the home of billionaire Oliver Warbucks. With memorable songs like "Tomorrow" and "It's the Hard-Knock Life," "Annie" is a tale of hope, love, and resilience.

The show will be directed by Masquers veterans Stacey and Clifford Bresee, whose past directing credits include "The Little Mermaid," "A Christmas Story," and last season's "Elf." Their expertise and passion for theater promise to bring a spectacular rendition of this classic musical to life.
