8/8 - A man’s electric bicycle was stolen from his Ferry Avenue porch. The incident was caught on a Ring security doorbell system. The owner also had an Apple Airtag affixed to the bike that would be able to track its location. Eventually, the officer found the bike behind a shed on a vacant lot on Aspen Street. The man retrieved the bike that is valued at roughly $1,500. Before the suspect rode off on the bike, the security footage showed the man wearing a bandana-style mask and trying to put a sticker over the camera to hide his identity, an act which adds the crime of tampering with evidence in addition to stealing the bike. The man had not been identified at the time of the report.
