8/18 - Police called the Okanogan County Coroner after being shown a Camas Street man who apparently died of natural causes in his home and had been found by his stepson.

8/19 - Police advised a Birch Street man to get a no-contact court order against a woman banned from his property but whom his son lets back onto the property. The man said he would look into getting a no-contact order.

- A vehicle was towed from the street in the area of Stevens Avenue and Diamond Street in Electric City because the city was going to perform roadwork there the next day.

8/20 - A woman who appeared to be having some kind of mental health crisis told police people were shooting BB or pellet guns at her all up and down River Drive because she had inherited some money. Police didn’t see any sign of injury on her. She was given a ride to the Colville Tribal Police Department saying she wished to speak to them, as well.

8/22 - While investigating a “burglary,” police spoke to a Holly Street man who told police that he believed an ex-roommate had been the burglar; however, nothing was taken or missing. The man said he would send police photos and videos of the incident.

- Police attempted to locate an owner of a camper with expired registration in the area of Fourth Street and Sunny Drive where road work was to occur. At the time of the report, an owner could not be reached, nor could a tow company. Police also reached out to Kootenai County in Idaho to see if a camper trailer had been stolen as there was no identifiable VIN number or other trace of an owner, and the plates were out of Idaho beginning with a letter “K” which often signifies coming from Kootenai County.

- An officer responded to Coulee Medical Center where a female had left with a knife and was apparently cutting herself. Upon arrival of Coulee Dam police, Grand Coulee officers were struggling to restrain her and get her into their patrol car. The female was banging her head inside the vehicle and appeared to ram her body into one of the Grand Coulee officers. The report notes that the person was also said to have kicked a doctor in the chest and kicked one of the Grand Coulee officers multiple times and has been the suspect in burglary reports made to the Grand Coulee Police Department. She had been brought into the hospital by tribal police. The GCPD handled the case. The Coulee Dam report notes the Coulee Dam officer’s perspective.

8/22 - Police received two reports of a suspicious male or males around the same time of night, one coming from River Drive in Coulee Dam, and one assisted Grand Coulee police near A Street in Grand Coulee. The reports don’t note if the cases are related. Police were unable to locate the suspicious persons in the cases at the time of the reports.

8/23 - Multiple car owners complied with requests to move their vehicles off the street for road work purposes in the town of Coulee Dam.

- Police were responding to a report of kayakers stranded on Banks Lake. Apparently, the wind blew them across from Sunbanks Lake Resort. While police were on their way to help, the weather improved and the kayakers were able to return back to the resort.

- A report was filed related to threats being made at Coulee Playland but didn’t include details on the threats.

8/24 - A female who had been reported missing was seen walking in the Electric Boulevard area. She explained she was staying with her father. Her mother was told, and she was cleared as a missing person.

- Police were told that people were using drugs and listening to loud music on a boat at Sunbanks Lake Resort. Resort security told police they would handle the situation.

8/25 - A 911 hangup call included sounds of a female saying something about her keys, arguing, and then hanging up. Upon call back, there were some rustling noises before again hanging up. Police went to Electric Boulevard where the call pinged from. An officer called the number and a woman apologized for having called earlier and didn’t want to describe what happened and hung up again. Police left the area.

- Washington State Patrol requested assistance with a boat blocking the roadway in the area of Coulee Boulevard and Western Avenue. Police went to the area but didn’t see anything matching that description, which they reported to back to WSP.
